Helen Fleming (b. 2003, Columbia, MD) is a multimedia digital artist and jeweler originally from Maryland, but is currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025 with a major in digital narrative and interactive design and minors in studio arts and creative writing. Through a combination of formal education and self-teaching, Fleming has gained experience in illustration, digital and film photography, silversmithing, and is currently learning 3D modeling and animation. They enjoy exploring how different mediums within both digital and traditional fine art, can be used to add to and tell stories. This manifests primarily as an interest in character design, specifically within the video and tabletop role-playing game spaces. They often collaborate with other artists and writers to develop worlds, characters, and plot lines that are then fleshed out and supported by illustrations, 3D models, animations/animatics, and the occasional jewelry piece. They are constantly looking for ways to make their own and others’ stories feel more tangible within an evolving digital and traditional art space. Much of their work within both storytelling and other projects, also carries underlying queer and alternative themes that explore gender, sexuality, and personal expression.
